Since the Foundation's inception in April of 2011, we have developed relationships with librarians and administrators in correctional institutions in Maryland, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Colorado and Hawaii and with the head of chaplaincy services for the correctional institutions in Ohio. Because correctional libraries have limited space and specific needs, we assess each institution's needs and send donations tailored to each institution's particular needs on a regular basis. We have received uniformly positive feedback from correctional institutions regarding our services. One library director recently contacted us and characterized the books we have been sending as being "perfect" for that institution's needs.
